Reward and Recognition

Recognition and reward play a valuable part in the Council’s activities.  Through partnerships with leading organisations, the Council showcases those within the industry taking actions beyond the call of duty and furthering preparedness and resiliency knowledge via exemplary activities that may engender further activities.
The Resilience Council is pleased to share its own successes as they occur.  We in turn work with organisations around the world to reward and recognise actions that lead toward greater preparedness and sustainable resiliency.

IIPT Awards

The International Institute For Peace Through Tourism (IIPT) – a not for profit organization dedicated to fostering and facilitating tourism initiatives which contribute to international understanding and cooperation – is partnering with Jacobs Media Group to present the IIPT Awards.

The IIPT Awards take place in conjunction with Resilience Council Summits across the world and recognise individuals and organisations for their contribution to tourism by empowering their communities and environments through sustainable practices and embracing cultural diversity.

Past winners come from across the globe and have been instrumental in showcasing to the world that tourism, as a worldwide social and cultural phenomenon, is one of humanity’s truly global activities that brings prosperity to all countries, which in turn, fosters peace.
