A Professor of landscape restoration and climate change in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Education, Kenyatta University, Kenya with research interests in Watershed restoration, human wildlife conflicts, global warming and climate change and the involvement of local communities in the management of natural resources. Has taught at Kenyatta university for the last 24 years. Has supervised 15 PhD and 55 Masters students and have been an external examiner in many universities in Africa and Europe. Has carried out many researches with collaboration with national and international organizations. Has published many journal articles in international journals and presented papers in many national and international conferences in Africa, Europe, America, Latin America, Asia and Australia. He is currently the Director, Global Tourism Resilience & Crisis Management Centre, Kenyatta University.
