Hon. Edmund Bartlett named ‘Global Tourism Icon’

The Resilience Council’s Co-Chair Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism for Jamaica was announced ‘Global Tourism Icon’ at ITB Berlin last week. The Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) honoured the Minister with the title due to his “outstanding contribution to the tourism industry”.  In his acceptance speech Minister Bartlett highlighted the importance of collective action in shaping the future of travel.
